Ecuador Posts Significant Trade Surplus between Jan – May 2014

blogs.wsj.com reported Ecuador posted a trade surplus of $483 million for the January-May period from a deficit of $626 million one year before as exports grew 9% and imports fell 2%, the country’s central bank said on Monday. Exports rose to $11.10 billion during the first five months of 2014, while imports fell to $10.61 billion, the bank said in its monthly report. Read Article
