Ecuador: military uniforms ammunition seized, destined for rebel groups in Colombia

Uniforms and ammunition that apparently were destined for Colombia’s rebel groups were seized by the Special Operations Group (GOE) of the National Police, in a house located in the northern city of Tulcan. The operation was performed Thursday afternoon on the streets and Uruguay Basin.
The head of the GOE in Carchi, Lieutenant Henry Acosta explained that thanks to a phone call type camouflage uniforms found 100 of the military, 103 cartridges of different calibers, including 7.62 mm, 9 mm, especially long arms scope that are used in rural operations. Also seized 6 phones with their chargers and two firearms, including a 22 caliber revolver made in Italy and a 16 gauge shotgun.
