Ecuador Customs limits number of cellphones brought in the country on flights

Restriction on removal of cellular

The National Customs Service plans to implement a new control to the cell through the halls of arrival, now out of the devices. Currently, Customs allows the entry of new and used mobile as part of the effects of the traveler, but restricts the entry of more than two devices, even when they try to pay the fees established. The administration prevents the nationalization of a third cell complying with the provision of Foreign Trade Committee, which prohibits importation for arrival halls, Post of Ecuador and couriers.The new measure is still under study.
