Ecuador, Court affirms trial for 10 activists, students accused of threatening state security

The Third Criminal Chamber of the Court of Pichincha dropped the request for revocation to appeal to court against the 10 activists arrested in Luluncoto in Quito in March.

The court’s president, Carmen Zambrano, read for about 40 minutes the resolution adopted with his teammates Eduardo Ochoa and Patricio Navarrete.

According to the official, there was no lack of competence of the judges who acted in the process, not helplessness of the defendants because there are records that could obtain certified copies of the record. Read Article
