Ecuador: Correa to send bill to assembly for funding human development payment from bank profits

Eluniverso.com reported that the president of the Association of Private Banks of Ecuador (ABPE), Cesar Robalino, warned yesterday that the Government’s proposal to fund the Human Development Bond of $ 35 to $ 50 in bank profits represents a “cuasiconfiscación” of sector earnings.
