Ecuador: Bus Accident kills at least 15 along Aloag-Santo Domingo Route

elcomercio.com.ec reported A unit of interprovincial transport of the cooperative Panamericana, with plates PAA – 8086, fell into a ravine at 16 km in the via Aloag-Santo Domingo. The accident was reported at 04:20, 8 November. 15 people died after a fall of 300 meters. One more person was killed, while she was transferred by ambulance to Quito. The number of fatalities may still increase, since the rescue of bodies continues. Christian Rivera, of the Committee of emergency operations, said the wounded polytrauma and are in critical condition.
