Ecuador: Bible toting taxi driver rips off passenger

Eluniverso.com reported that last Wednesday a taxi passenger in Guayaquil was robbed by the driver, when the victim was picked up in the ​​El Fortin area to go to the International Airport. The victim described the taxi driver as being 60 years old with white hair and did not look like he would be a thief. In the taxi was a Bible and religious music was playing on the sound system. While at a stop light the driver took out a light bulb and asked the passenger to get out and ask at a local store the price for a new bulb. The driver told the passenger to leave his bag which had a cellphone inside. When the passenger got out of the taxi, the driver fled.
