Ecuador asserts that liquid asphalt imports will meet demand during shutdown of Esmeraldas refinery

lahora.com.ec reported to meet domestic demand during the plant shutdown Esmeraldas refinery, the state oil EP Petroecuador and the Ministry of Transport and Public Works (MTOP) imported 236,000 barrels of liquid asphalt. Gridlock (trains one and two) of the plant is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1. The company Global Logistic and Trading Sag Asphalt is responsible for the acquisition of material from from Louisiana, United States. For several days motorships is crowded at the dock one of Esmeraldas Port Authority (PSA), containing 35,000 barrels. Read Article
