Ecuador: analysis of IESS indicates 49 percent of patients not obtaining appointments through call center

Elcomercio.com reported that the lack of medical appointments assignments in the call center IESS affects users. At least, according to an analysis by the Comptroller General of the State, 49% of members are not served. Carlos Pinto waiting for an appointment for gallbladder surgery almost six months. The 47 year old man waiting in the Carlos Andrade Marín Hospital yesterday morning to try to talk to the doctor who attended the case and ask that he schedule an appointment for next checkup.
