Ecuador, 4.8 Earthquake off of coastal province of El Oro

EL Universo reported an earthquake of magnitude 4.8 occurred on Sunday in the Pacific Ocean, off the coastal province of El Oro, according to the website detailing the Geophysical Institute of the National Polytechnic School (IG).

The telluric phenomenon occurred at 23:01 and its epicenter situated 167 kilometers southwest of the city of Huaquillas. The hypocenter of the earthquake was located at 25 kilometers deep, the agency added. Read Article
