Ecuador: 14 provinces so far in 2013 report 476 confirmed dengue cases

Eluniverso.com reported that a 11 year old boy is the first fatality of dengue in the country so far in 2013, while the sick increase, according to health officials. From January 1 until the third week of this month (Saturday 19) there have been 476 cases in fourteen provinces, said Norma Armas, national secretary of Public Health Surveillance. This means 16 more than the same period of 2012, when 460 were reported in six provinces, according to reports from the Ministry of Public Health (MPH). Read Article
