Durango State Mexico: 158 municipal police detained for alleged links to organized crime

A total of 158 municipal police officers were arrested Friday in Durango State, northern Mexico, for his alleged links to organized crime, according to the prosecutor Sonia Yadira de la Garza . The operation affected the municipal Public Security addresses of the locations of Lerdo (150,000 inhabitants) and Gómez Palacio (350,000) and was attended by Mexican army troops and federal police, as reported on its website the newspaper El Universal.
