Drug traffickers use new route near Puerto Rico, 180 kilos cocaine seized

A cache of about 180 kilos of cocaine was seized within 27 kilometers of the coast of El Dorado, Northern District of Puerto Rico, in an operation against drug trafficking in which they were arrested six Dominicans. The head of the federal prosecutor in San Juan, Rosa Emilia Rodriguez announced at a press conference yesterday that in the operation, carried out during the night of Thursday, involved agents and Immigration Enforcement Agency (ICE), the Agency Anti Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and United Force Rapid Action (FURA).
