Drug Mules Disguised as Nuns Arrested in Colombia

From El Universal on June 10, 2013- Colombian authorities arrested three women disguised as nuns on the Colombian island of San Andres where they attempted to breach airport security with six kilograms of cocaine attached to their bodies. The arrest occurred at the Gustavo Rojas Pinilla airport after the false nuns disembarked from the flight that originated in Bogota. The three women will be charged with crimes of possession, trafficking, and the manufacture of drugs. Their sentences are expected to be between 6 and 20 years in prison. Read Article
