Drug mule caught in Guatemalan airport transporting cocaine; Flew from Colombia

Luis Antonio Rios Perez (27) was detained in the Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City, Guatemala after flying from Barranquilla, Colombia with liquid cocaine. He had swallowed 46 capsules of the drug to evade detection, the Government of Guatemala website reports. However, after passing through security controls after arriving in Guatemala, officials noted his nervous appearance. Rios Perez also stated that he felt ill, leading to the discovery of the drugs.
