Drug mule caught in Dominican Republic; flying to Spain with cocaine in stomach

Anyello Tavarez Basora (21) was impeded in the Santo Domingo airport as he attempted to board a plane to Spain with 38 small bags of cocaine in his stomach. He was investigated after security officials noticed suspicious behavior and a radiology test yielded positive results, Noticias Mundo Vision reports. He was taken to an Armed Forces hospital, where the 38 bags were found. He remains at the hospital in the case more bags are expelled. Officials continue to investigate the case in order to determine for whom Tavarez was working and the final location of the drugs. Read Article
