Drug discovery at Port of Maracaibo in Venezuela, 21 tons seized

A large shipment of drugs was intercepted in the afternoon on June 25, 2012 at the Port of Maracaibo, Venezuela. In total, 21 tons of drugs were seized. The type of drug was not specified, but Panorama reports that they were tucked inside rolls of water-proofing material. The drug was found in a storage area, from which it would later be shipped out of the country. Three people were reportedly taken into custody. Read Article
