Disappearance in Ciudad Juarez of young girls has grown exponentially

Karla Michel Salas, a member of the National Association of Democratic Lawyers (ANAD), mentioned that Esmeralda is one of dozens of missing children and adolescents in the last three years of the center of Ciudad Juarez, and at least 10 of them disappeared from an area whose radius is not more than 10 blocks and includes the colonies: Francisco I. Madero, Durango, Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez and Postal. She said the phenomenon of disappearance in Ciudad Juarez has grown exponentially. In 2006 it was officially 7 disappearance, in 2007, were 28, in 2009, 48, while in 2010 and 2011, there were 67 of which 14 were killed, all representing a growth of 900%. Read Article
