Cusco Peru: tourist from U.S. found dead in hotel, may have died from high altitude sickness

A 46-year-old American citizen and tourist was discovered dead in his Cusco hotel room on Monday morning.
Andina news agency reports that William Thomas Hunt, 46, retired to his room at the Eco Inn hotel in Cusco after going on a city tour. Sources told Andina that Hunt had complained of feeling poorly after the tour.
At the time of publishing, the cause of Hunt’s death was still unknown. However, Andina reports that police have indicated that Hunt’s could be a case of fatal altitude sickness. Read Article
