Cuba continues to confront drug trafficking in the region

A report published today in the newspaper Granma explains that despite increased international threats and the complexity of the phenomenon of drug trafficking in the region, with a decade of implementing operations Breastplate Popular and Aché III, the drug strategy by the government deplegada Cuban shown great effectiveness. As a result of confronting these manifestations, in 2012 they secured nationally drug 3045 kg (2997 kg of marijuana, 43 kg of cocaine, 2 kilograms of hash oil and small amounts of other illicit substances), highlights the paper.
