Costa Rica: Second McDonalds Closed In Less Than A Week By Health
A “barrida” (sweep) of fast food outlets by the Ministerio de Salud (Health ministry) resulted in the closings of 90 businesses in Desamparados alone on Friday.

The ministerio de Salud announced sweeps across the country when it was forced to close a downtown McDonalds for an expired “permiso sanitario’ (health permit), violation of the equal access law and that 30 of the 33 employees at the Banco Cental location did not complete the required food handling course.
