Costa Rica, funds will only cover repairs of 70 bridges out of 1100

Only 70 of 1,100 bridges in the national road network could be satisfied with money together for this year MOPT and the National Highway Council (Conavi). It is ¢ 31.283 million to be invested in strengthening beams, replacing tiles, railings or putting inserts improve alignment of damaged bridges. The structures were chosen to address in order of importance: if they are on domestic routes or related tourist sites, hospitals or shopping areas. Read Article
