Costa Rica, more driving tickets issued in afternoon in San Jose

Before the end of last year the vehicular restrictions of San José were all day during weekdays. However, starting last week, due to an administrative error, the restrictions when back to the original only mornings and afternoons. The subdirector de Tránsito, Marcelo Morera, explains that an average of 180 tickets a day are handed to drivers violating the restrictions, the majority – almost three times – are handed out in the afternoons between 4:30pm and 7:00pm.
