Colombian Narcotics Traffickers in Bolivia

•According to Colombian investigators, there are about 3,000 Colombians in Bolivia participating in the Martín Llanos narcotics trafficking group.
•A report from eju.tv reveals that within the last 5 years, Colombians have been participating in this group which operates in the capital of the Santa Cruz department, Bolivia.
•Currently, 32 Colombian citizens stand accused of participating in narcotics related activity in Bolivia.
•Colombian Carlos Noel Buitrago Vega has been captured after living in Santa Cruz de la Sierra for years under a false identity.
•He is the cousin of Héctor Buitrago, alias Martín Llanos.
•Sacha Llorenti, minister of the government of Bolivia, declared that Colombia and Bolivia had agreed to work together to thwart narcotics activity between the two countries. Read Article
