Colombian hitman strikes in bakery, is captured by police

An assassin entered the Pan Suizo bakery in Fontibón, Colombia and fired three shots, thus killing his victim. The killer, estimated to be 18 years of age, attempted to flee the scene after the incident by running, but was caught by police, El Espacio reports. Before the assassination, the victim had been sitting and drinking a hot drink. He was estimated to be about 40 years old. When the killer began to flee, witnesses cried out, prompting nearby workers to pursue the assassin with hammers and wood. The investigation is ongoing. Police have refused to release the name of the victim to avoid public interference in the investigation. Read Article
