Six underground structures used by illegal armed groups for the production of alkaloids were destroyed by the army in various parts of the country.
In a first action, soldiers of the Twenty-second Brigade located in rural areas of the town of Calamar, Guaviare, two handcrafted, inside which were hidden 120 gallons of sulfuric acid, 80 gallons of ACMP, 1112 kilos of coca leaf in process 50 kilos and 50 kilos of lime salts.

Meanwhile, troops of the Fourth Brigade, located two structures used for the production of alkaloids in the municipalities of San Luis, Antioquia and Puerto Boyaca, Boyaca. 226 gallons of gasoline, three gallons of insecticide, 112 kilos of cement, 50 kilos of caustic soda, 30 kilos of lime, two sprayers, two weights, 300 kilos of coca seeds in seed and 5000 plants ready for planting.

Simultaneously, members of the Apollo Task Force, deployed in the rural municipality of Caloto, Cauca, they found two laboratories. 550 meters of duplex cable and 1,000 light bulbs was the seized material. Read Article
