Colombia: Illegal criminal gangs operating in at least eight departments

NGOs say they have indirect presence in more municipalities than pointing Mindefensa. The fight for control of drug trafficking routes and illegal mining has focused the dispute and the presence of criminal gangs in at least eight departments.
