Colombia, 1 in 10 Diplomas Presented for Job Opportunities are Fake

•According to a study done by Competencia Humana, one out of every ten diplomas given by potential employees were false per portafolio.co.
•In the study, 20% of the falsified documents were from schools that did not exist and 15% of the cases involved complicity between the forger and the academic institution itself.
•Only 15% of those who handed over false documents accepted the fact and apologized.
•Others during the process of giving the documents displayed attitudes that ranged from friendliness, aggressiveness, eagerness to go to an alleged other appointment, and even a willingness to offer bribes to overlook the offense. Read Article
