CitySightseeing Invests 8 Billion Pesos in Colombia
• According to larepublica.com.co , the touristic franchise which has established itself all over the world is planning on running routes in Bogotá and Cartagena.
• Vice minister of Tourism, Óscar Rueda, states that this investment will help Colombia establish itself as a tourist country.
• A ticket costing 45,000 pesos (about 25 USD) will allow passengers to take a tour and listen to audio guides in 5 different languages about the history of the cultural sights in the two cities.
• There will be strategic bus stops that tourists will be able to leave or board the buses which will encourage them to explore the cities.
• Tourism is the third greatest source of income in Colombia after oil and coal. Read Article (JR)
