Chile: First conviction under new law for smuggling of migrants and trafficking

radio.uchile.cl reported th Fourth Criminal Court imposed the original sentence Santiago in Chile for the offense of trafficking under the new rules that apply to this crime, following the adoption of Law 20,507 on Smuggling of Migrants and Trafficking. The trial, in which the National Human Rights Institute (NHRI) was plaintiff took place in the Santiago Justice Center, and is entering the country of Dominican citizens for purposes of sexual exploitation.
