Chavez, Correa Meet Privately in Salinas, Ecuador

ElUniverso.com reports that President Rafael Correa is meeting with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in Salinas. This meeting is reportedly going to last two hours and behind closed doors. The two presidents will discuss the relationship between Ecuador and Venezuela as well as the position of the countries internationally. At the same time, a bi-national meeting of government ministers from both counties will be held in a civic center in Salinas. In this meeting, officials will address energy, health, education, security and defense issues, Ricardo Patiño Ecuador’s Foreign Minister said.Read Article
