Capture of Important FARC Members, Colombia

•A joint attack between different groups of the Colombian armed forces secured the capture of 8 members of FARC’s front 25 including two important members of the front in Granada, Huila, Colombia.
•As a result of the attack, 2 guerillas died, and the injured were transferred to hospitals for medical attention.
•Among the captured were 2 top members aliases Tata and Gonzalo of front 25.
•Tata was part of the security of Mono Jojoy and has been involved with FARC for 19 years.
•Gonzalo was involved in politics for FARC and is also known for the involvement in the commissioning of criminal intelligence. He currently has 30 orders of capture and 19 effective searches. Read Article
