Cancun Mexico: Average age of drug use begins at age 13

he average age of onset of drug use has declined in recent years to 13 years, worrying data in the state of Cancun. Apart from this early age at onset of drug addiction, the mean drug use has risen slowly but steadily by about 1% per year. The head of the ICJ (Youth Integration Center), Zoilo Garcia Salazar, Cancun, warned that one of the greatest rates of addiction in the country are registered in Quintana Roo. Salazar said the fact that cases of drug addiction one percent rise annually, that the early age of onset of consumption is just 13 years should be very concerned the state.
