Cameraman killed in police operation in Favela, Rio de Janeiro

A cameraman for the Brazilian TV network Bandeirantes died on Sunday shot dead in a police operation in a slum in the western suburbs of Rio, the group said in a statement.
Wounded in the chest, Gelson cameraman Domingos, 46, who covered the operation of the Special Operations Battalion (Bope) in the favela of Antares, was rushed to hospital, where he became lifeless. “Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful,” said a statement from the Health Department.Read Article
