Brazil: Waitress on cruise ship MSC Armonia dies from respiratory illness, others ill

The cruise ship MSC Armonia, where a waitress of 30 years suffered a severe respiratory illness infected with influenza B virus for which she died on Saturday in Brazil, tied this morning in Montevideo and then continue their way to Buenos Aires, where is scheduled to arrive tomorrow at 9 am. The ship’s captain had asked the Uruguayan Navy had a respiratory ready to attend some of the people aboard the ship, owned by the company Mediterranean Shipping Company. After the arrival of the ship, in charge of public relations for the Uruguayan Navy, Sergio Bique, reported that “met the standard protocols” and even “five crew members were referred to a private hospital, the ship can operate normally.” Read Article
