Brazil: U.S. Vice President Visits Brazil to Strengthen Energy Partnership

epocanegocios.globo.com reported on May 29, 2013 that the vice president of the United States, Joseph Biden, will commence his visit to Brazil in Rio de Janeiro, during a three-day stay in the country. Biden will meet with President Dilma and other officials to discuss topics including a strengthened partnership in energy, development projects in the areas of science and technology, as well as reforming the visa requirements for Brazilians traveling to the U.S. In addition, Biden will visit a favela in Rio de Janeiro to discuss security policies about pacification. Both countries attempt to strengthen relations with one another as natural sources and technological advancements can help benefit one another. Read Article
