On February 18, 2013, O Estado de São Paulo reported that a gang of 30 thieves stole an entire truckload of electronics from a stash in Campinas.  The thieves loaded the goods into six separate cars and nine separate trucks and drove off.  They entered the secure compound using a car owned by the security company that protects the business.  The target was a stash of communications equipment sold by Celistics, a Spanish multinational that helps with the distribution of many of the items stolen.  During the theft, some of the security officers were forced by the 30 to load the cars and trucks with the goods.  Police continue to investigate the motives and destinations of the gang.  Read Article
