Brazil, shootout between army and drug traffickers leaves one teenager dead

The Brazilian Army today sent 11 riflemen and 100 armored vehicles to the favelas of Complexo do Alemao, Rio de Janeiro, where an intense gun battle between troops of this force and drug traffickers last night left a teenager dead and injured adult.Ana Lucia da Silva, 15, died after being shot in the head during the shooting, apparently with weapons, military and drug traffickers, said today the victim’s aunt, Carla da Silva, was quoted as saying ANSA.
