Brazil investigates CIA payments to Federal Police who monitor Triple Frontier

The Brazilian Chamber of Deputies is investigating whether or not the CIA sent money to Federal Police officers who investigated members of the Islamic community and terrorist organizations in the triple border between Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina. Former police chief Queiroz Protógenes was charged with the task to find the source of the money that might have been deposited into personal bank accounts of some members of the Federal Police, according to abc.com.py. Ex-Chief of the Federal Antiterrorist Police, Daniel Lorenz, who leaked false information about Arab citizens in Brazil, may be called in for questioning about the case.
