Brazil airforce to begin operations to locate clandestine airstrips

In the far north, the Air Force (FAB) will participate in Operation Agate with four fighters, reconnaissance, airborne early warning (radar plane), search and rescue and transport logistics. The area of ​​operation is greater than the land area of ​​Portugal and Spain. More than five thousand kilometers on the border of Brazil and Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana.
