Border Bandits Strike Again, Arizona – Mexico Border

Nine alleged victims told sheriff’s deputies that they were traveling with four other undocumented immigrants on the night of Oct. 17 when two gunmen stopped the group near a spot known as White Tank.”They did not have much to steal,” Sheriff Antonio Estrada told the board of supervisors during his report Wednesday. “They were not (drug) backpackers.” The bandits allegedly stole a total of $1,700 pesos, $10 U.S. dollars and three cell phones.
