Bolivian domestic workers claim labor exploitation in Uruguay

The Daily Women’s Collective in Montevideo, Uruguay, reported that the situation is alarming labor exploitation in which domestic workers are doing their work at a residence in Carrasco.

We have documented situations of rights violations experienced by dozens of women migrants in our country. In recent months detected a pattern of behavior to the detriment of Bolivian women who come to Uruguay to work as domestic workers. Specifically, we found alarming situation of labor exploitation in which they find themselves in a residence in Carrasco, the report said. Read Article
