Bolivia to purchase two tons annually of Gold

The Government announced that it will buy gold to diversify reserves BCB “against the weak dollar and the euro,” will depend on the international price. In addition, the Executive estimates that each year only buy two tons of the seven that are produced in the country.The Finance Minister Luis Arce said yesterday that the two tons of gold would buy the central bank will go to the Net International Reserves (NIR) of the BCB and the remaining five tons, are intended to meet the domestic demand for this mineral in the country as producers of jewelry.
