Bolivia Smugglers use 2,000 donkeys to transport illegal timber

Around 2,000 donkeys are used as pack animals carrying illegal timber by smugglers in Bolivia reported El Nacional. The animals were being exploited carrying around 50 kilos each and the estimated value of the timber is 200 bolivianos each. The Supervision and Social Control Authority of Forestry and Land (ABT) have so far managed to seize 50,000 planks of wood. Read Article.
