Bolivia: 15 minors rescued from brothels to date 2012 in La Paz, located near government offices

From January to date anti-crime force (FELCC) rescued 15 girls clandestine brothels in the city center and captured two clans responsible for recruiting them. The Attorney and the Mayor announced operations against these illegal businesses. At least about 15 girls were rescued. We recently had nine cases of children on Figueroa Street and Santa Cruz, so there were three arrested are in police custody. They were girls and the fact that one of them agrees to work in these places is not valid, “the authority said. On a tour, this newspaper noted that eight of these businesses operate on Potosi Street, behind the Palace of Government and the Governor, and five on Avenida Camacho Eliodoro in the back of City Hall. On the other hand, there are 27 in a building on Figueroa Street, five before reaching the square Alonso de Mendoza and four more on Viacha Street, next to Avenida America. Read Article
