Bogota, Quito sign aggrement to make improvements for disabled

The mayor of Bogota, Gustavo Petro, signed today a cooperation agreement on disability with the Vice President of Ecuador, which will send three teams of experts to the city to report on the “Manuela Mirror”, which has helped thousands of people in the country. At the signing ceremony, the secretary general of the Vice President of Ecuador, Armando Hunt, said that thanks to a study of the “Manuela Espejo” is determined that there are 294,000 persons with disabilities in Ecuador and developed public policies to support. Petro complained that many of the cities are not made to accommodate disabled people and have been more people with a deficiency which they have had to engage the cities. Read Article
