The Body of a Missing Man Found in El Chorro, Peru

Terra.es reports that the Civil Guard found the body of a young man, 23 years old, who went missing in the area of Cueva de la Paloma. The body was found at one in the afternoon. The man went missing while climbing with a friend in the nature reserve of El Chorro. The government delegation in Malaga reported that the body was found at the bottom of a vertical climbing wall. The death has been ruled an accident given the characteristics of the area. An autopsy will be performed. A large search party, including air support, began early Tuesday morning. The search began this past Sunday when his friend reported him missing. Reportedly, the friend told authorities that the man left him with the intention to climb but did not have the right equipment.Read Article
