Argentina: Pharmaceutical imports fell 50 percent in 2011

Drug Imports fell 50 percent last year as compared to those that occurred in 2010, says a report by consultancy Abeceb.com. Consumers have stated claims for shortages of different drugs. “Imports, which in 2010 grew to nearly 30 percent in 2011 slowed to grow by 14.4 percent to 1,790 million dollars,” says the report of the consultant. The effect of restriction on the entry of drugs led to consumer complaints about shortages of different drugs, from the simplest to the most complex.
