Argentina has the most internet users in Latin America

A report released by the private consulting firm, Prince and Cooke, shows that 66% of the Argentine population accesses the internet from different locations and with different devices. At the end of last year 27 million people were online, showing a 17.4% increase just that year. According to ambito.com, the report explains the increase in users is due to a strong presence of a middle class interested in cultural consumption, a large urban population and the fact that telecommunications were liberalized earlier in Argentina than they were in other Latin American nations. At this rate of growth, Argentina could possibly reach the level of internet usage seen in industrialized countries.
