Argentina, fires in Cordoba cause evacuations

Hundreds of residents were evacuated towns Cordoba today because of advancing forest fires that affect the central region of the province. “The fire is very large, very complicated. There are 50 square kilometers (fire),” estimated the Government Minister Carlos Caserio.

Provincial authorities plan Fire Management indicated that the outbreaks affecting Cosquín locations, Valle Hermoso, Rio San Gregorio (near La Falda), Villa Giardino, Los Cocos and La Cumbre. Also fighting the flames in Cañada Honda and Quarry Falls. Read Article
